Chevrolet: 396-502, square ports, Ultra Seal exhaust gaskets
This premium exhaust gasket set is designed and constructed to improve sealing of exhaust header flanges. Unlike standard exhaust gasket material, Ultra-Seal exhaust gaskets incorporate a graphite-impregnated facing and a steel expanded metal core that reinforces and increases the tensile strength. This gives the gasket the ability to conform to warped flanges, giving it better sealing capabilities without deteriorating or cracking under the excessive heat and pressure common in the exhaust system
