The new 6TN Ignition was designed with circle track racing in mind and are approved for use by NASCAR. The 6TN ignition feature MSD's race winning capacitive discharge ignition design and is combined with heavy duty vibration protection. The year NASCAR added a new rule (20-6.1) requiring all ignitions to have the same 6-pin Weathertight Connector. The 6TN features the correct connector to form a positive locking and sealed connection. The cast aluminum housing provide a solid mounting foundation for the circuit board and transformer. For added protection, a two part silicone elastomer encases the circuit board making it impossible for parts to vibrate loose. To top it off, the 6TN is equipped with sturdy vibration mounts. The 6TN has a special 4-pin connector to plug directly into an external Rev Control (PN 8738) and will install to points, electronic ignitions and magnetic pickups and are supplied with matching wiring harnesses . |
